Clofresh Advance Cream 10 Gm contains two active ingredients that work together to effectively manage fungal skin infections:

• Mometasone (0.1%): As a medium-potency corticosteroid, mometasone reduces inflammation, itching, and redness associated with fungal skin infections. It works by producing lipocortins which inhibit phospholipase A2 and the release of inflammatory mediators. Moreover, it reduces the production of interleukins involved in inflammatory reactions and causes vasoconstriction whilst decreasing capillary permeability.

• Terbinafine (1%): This synthetic allylamine antifungal component plays a significant role in managing fungal skin infections. Terbinafine works by inhibiting squalene epoxidase - an enzyme involved in ergosterol synthesis. Ergosterol is an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. By disrupting ergosterol synthesis, terbinafine disrupts the fungal cell membrane, eventually leading to fungal cell death.
