Cefrine Suspension 30ml interacts with the following medicines:

• Antacids containing aluminium or magnesium: The concomitant use may reduce the absorption of cefdinir. Maintain at least a 2-hour gap between administration.
• Antigout medicines such as Probenecid: The concomitant use may reduce renal excretion of cefdinir, increasing its levels and risk of side effects.
• Iron supplements: These significantly reduce absorption. Maintain a gap of at least 2 hours between doses.

Cefrine Suspension 30ml interacts with the following foods:

• Iron-rich foods or fortified products: These may reduce the absorption of the medicine. Maintain a time gap between such foods and medication.

Cefrine Suspension 30ml interacts with the following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity reactions: Children with a history of antibiotic allergy may be at increased risk of severe reactions.
• Renal impairment: Reduced kidney function may lead to accumulation and increased side effects.

The recommended dose of Cefrine Suspension 30ml in children is determined by the doctor based on body weight, age, infection severity, and clinical response. Follow the prescribed dosing schedule carefully.

Overdose of Cefrine Suspension 30ml may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhoea. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected.

If a dose of Cefrine Suspension 30ml is missed, administer it as soon as remembered. If it is close to the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not give a double dose.
