CompositionCarvidon-OD Tablet is used to prevent and manage symptoms of angina pectoris (chest pain) in adults. It belongs to a class of medications known as anti-anginal agents and works as a metabolic modulator (containing Trimetazidine) in cardiac cells. This medicine helps improve the heart's efficiency, delays the onset of pain (ischaemia) during exertion, and can be particularly beneficial for people with microvascular angina and those with coronary artery disease and diabetes.
Carvidon-OD Tablet is used for the prevention and management of angina, including chronic stable angina and microvascular angina. It helps improve exercise tolerance in angina patients, delays ischemia onset during physical activity, and supports coronary artery disease in patients with diabetes when used in combination with other anti-anginal therapies.

Carvidon-OD Tablet is taken orally.
Carvidon-OD Tablet may cause dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, orthostatic hypotension (a drop in blood pressure when standing), and thrombocytopenia (low platelet count).
