Brufen 400 Tablet can interact with medications, including.

• Anticoagulants such as Warfarin: It may decrease the excretion rate of Warfarin which could result in a higher serum level.
• Anti-cancer medicines such as Methotrexate: The serum concentration of Methotrexate can be increased when it is combined with this medicine.
• Antiemetic medicines such as Metoclopramide: It may decrease the excretion rate of Metoclopramide which could result in a higher serum level.
• Antiemetic medicines such as Domperidone: The metabolism of Domperidone can be decreased when combined with this medicine.
• Steroids such as Prednisone: The risk or severity of gastrointestinal irritation can be increased when Prednisone is combined with this tablet.
• Antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin: The metabolism of this tablet can be decreased when combined with Ciprofloxacin
• Bronchodilators such as Theophylline: The metabolism of this tablet can be decreased when combined with Theophylline.

Brufen 400 Tablet can interact with diseases, including:

• Stomach ulcers: It may increase the risk of stomach ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding, so it is generally not recommended for individuals with a history of ulcers.
• Oedema (Swelling): It may be used to reduce swelling (edema) in certain conditions, but it can also cause fluid retention in some cases, so its use should be monitored in individuals with oedema.
• Thrombosis: It can have antiplatelet effects that may increase the risk of thrombosis (blood clot formation), especially in high doses. It is generally not recommended for individuals at risk of thrombosis.
• Platelet aggregation: It can inhibit platelet aggregation, which may affect blood clotting. It should be used cautiously in individuals with bleeding disorders or those taking other anticoagulant medications.
• Kidney diseases: It can have adverse effects on the kidneys, and its use may be limited or closely monitored in individuals with kidney diseases, as it can worsen kidney function.
• Liver diseases: It is generally considered safe for individuals with mild liver disease. However, in cases of severe liver disease or cirrhosis, its use should be monitored closely, as the liver plays a role in metabolising the medicine

The recommended daily dose of this tablet is taken as directed by your doctor. They should be taken with food. Kindly consult your doctor if your fever or pain persists for long periods of time or if this tablet is not relieving your symptoms.
