Bosenat 62.5 MG Tablet 10

Bosenat 62.5 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension

• Improving exercise capacity in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension

• Decreasing rate of clinical worsening in pulmonary arterial hypertension

• Managing symptoms of breathlessness in pulmonary arterial hypertension

• Enhancing oxygen supply to lungs

• Improving quality of life in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension

Follow these instructions while taking Bosenat 62.5 MG Tablet 10:

• Take this tablet with a glass of water.

• Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing it.

• You can take it with or without food.

Bosenat 62.5 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Bosenat 62.5 MG Tablet 10 contains bosentan (62.5 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Endothelin Receptor Blockade: Bosentan blocks the action of endothelin-1, a naturally occurring substance in the body that causes blood vessels to narrow (vasoconstriction) and cells to multiply.

• Dual Receptor Antagonism: It specifically blocks two types of endothelin receptors – ETA and ETB. By blocking these receptors, it prevents the action of endothelin-1, a substance that causes blood vessel constriction.

• Vasodilation Effect: By blocking endothelin receptors, bosentan causes the blood vessels in the lungs and throughout the body to relax and widen, which reduces blood pressure in these vessels.

• Improved Blood Flow: The widening of blood vessels leads to better circulation, allowing more blood and oxygen to reach the lungs and improving overall cardiopulmonary function.

• Store at room temperature below 25°C.

• Protect from light and moisture.

• Store out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Regular, gentle exercise such as walking or swimming may help improve your exercise capacity if you have pulmonary arterial hypertension.

• Consider following a low-salt diet to help manage fluid retention (swelling), which can be a symptom of pulmonary hypertension or a side effect of your medicine.
