Bimat Eye Drops 3Ml

Bimat 0.03% Eye Drops 3ml is used to manage open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension in adults, helping to reduce increased pressure within the eye and preserve vision.

Uses of Bimat 0.03% Eye Drops 3ml are:

• Open-Angle Glaucoma and Ocular Hypertension: Improves the drainage of fluid from the eye, lowering eye pressure and helping prevent optic nerve damage.

Follow these instructions while using Bimat Eye Drops:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before using the eye drops.
• Remove contact lenses before applying the drops.
• Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid gently.
• Hold the dropper close to your eye without touching any part of your eye.
• Squeeze one drop into the pocket formed by your lower eyelid.
• Close your eyes and press your finger against the inner corner for 1-2 minutes.
• Replace the cap immediately after use.

Bimat Eye Drops are instilled topically.

Bimat Eye Drops contain two active ingredients:

• Bimatoprost (0.03%): This component works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humour (fluid inside the eye) through the uveoscleral pathway. This action helps reduce the pressure inside your eye by improving drainage of excess fluid.
• Benzalkonium chloride (0.005%): This acts as an antimicrobial preservative in the eye drop solution. It prevents bacterial contamination and ensures the drops remain sterile throughout their use. This component helps maintain the safety and effectiveness of the medicine during its shelf life.

• Store Bimat Eye Drops at room temperature (15-30°C) in the original container.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
• Protect from direct light and moisture.
• Store away from children's reach.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
• Discard the bottle 4 weeks after opening it.
