Bilaxta M Tablet 10 is useful in managing several health conditions, including seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, urticaria (commonly known as hives), and bronchial asthma. It provides relief from allergic symptoms such as a blocked or runny nose, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes caused by seasonal hay fever (allergic rhinitis), seasonal allergies, and other types of allergies.

Bilaxta M Tablet 10 is a combination medicine that includes two active ingredients:

• Bilastine (20 mg): This non-sedating antihistamine selectively binds to H1 histamine receptors in your body. Histamine is a natural chemical released during allergic reactions causing symptoms like itching, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes. By blocking histamine action, bilastine helps manage these allergy symptoms.
• Montelukast (10 mg): Belonging to a class of medicines called leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs), montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotrienes. These are inflammatory chemicals released during an asthma attack or allergic reaction, causing airways to narrow and swell up, leading to difficulty breathing, chest tightness, and wheezing. Montelukast helps keep the airways open by blocking leukotriene receptors and preventing airway inflammation.

• Keep Bilaxta M Tablet 10 in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.
• Store the medicine at a comfortable room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep the tablet well out of sight and reach of children for safety reasons.
