Apgel Gel 10gm

Apgel Gel 10gm is used for the following:

• Managing acne vulgaris: This skin condition is characterised by the formation of comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), papules, pustules, and occasionally cysts.

Apply Apgel Gel 10gm as suggested below:

• Start by ensuring that your skin is clean and dry. You can wash the area with soap and water, then pat it dry using a clean towel.
• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area. Make sure to avoid contact with your eyes, lips, nostrils, mucous membranes, and angles of your nose.
• Avoid covering the treated area with dressings or bandages after application.

Apgel Gel 10gm is applied topically.

Apgel Gel 10gm contains two active ingredients:

• Adapalene (0.10% w/w): It is a retinoid-like compound that inhibits the formation of acne lesions. It also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties by reducing acne-related inflammation, making it effective for treating both non-inflammatory and inflammatory acne lesions.

• Store Apgel Gel 10gm at room temperature. 
• It should not be frozen and should be kept away from direct sunlight.
• Ensure that the tube is tightly closed when not in use to prevent air or moisture exposure.
• Always keep Apgel Gel 10gm out of reach of children.
• Use the product before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• Do not apply this combination directly to the nipple and areola to avoid getting it into your baby’s mouth.
• Use non-comedogenic moisturisers to keep the skin hydrated and protected.
• Avoid excessive touching, picking, or squeezing of acne lesions, leading to further inflammation and potential scarring.
• Avoid harsh scrubbing or over-washing, which can irritate the skin and worsen acne.
