Andial Tablet 10

Andial Tablet is used in the treatment of acute diarrhoea, including diarrhoea associated with inflammatory bowel disease, helping reduce frequent loose stools and ease stomach discomfort.

Uses of Andial Tablet are:

• Acute Diarrhoea: Reduces the frequency of loose, watery stools.
• Diarrhoea in Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Helps manage diarrhoea associated with conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease.

• Do not crush, chew or break the medicine.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water. 
• Talk to the doctor before taking the medicine.
• Follow the prescribed dosage.
• Take the medicine at the same time each day for best efficiency.

• The route of administration of Andial Tablet is oral.

Andial Tablet contains loperamide which acts by:

• Binding to the opiate receptors in the gut wall which stops the chemicals that are responsible for intestinal contraction and faster movement of contents in intestine thereby slowing down these processes
• Reduces the volume of stools and increases viscosity and bulk density.
• Increases the tone of anal sphincter thereby reducing the urgency to pass stools

• Store the medicine at a temperature below 30 degrees Celsius.
• Do not use the medicine after the date of expiry. 
• Keep it away from direct sunlight. 
• Keep it away from the reach of children and pets.

• Stay hydrated by drinking ample fluids to prevent dehydration and maintain electrolyte balance.
• Consume small, frequent meals to ease digestion and prevent further discomfort.
• Opt for room-temperature foods, as extreme temperatures may irritate the digestive system.
• Avoid spicy, fried, and oily foods, as they can worsen symptoms and exacerbate the condition.
