Amlong A Tablet 15

Amlong-A Tablet is used for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain). It helps prevent heart attacks by improving blood flow to the heart and reducing strain on the heart muscle, supporting better cardiovascular health.

• Take the tablet as a whole without crushing or breaking it.
• You can take it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it at the same time every day for optimal results.

The Amlong-A Tablet is taken orally. 

The Amlong-A Tablet contains the following components:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): It is a calcium channel blocker that inhibits calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle, relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.
• Atenolol (50 mg): It is a beta-blocker that blocks the effects of adrenaline, reducing heart rate and cardiac output.

The storage instructions for Amlong-A Tablet are as follows:

• Amlong-A Tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Daily, consume less than 2,300 milligrams (about one teaspoon of salt) of sodium. High sodium intake can elevate blood pressure.
• Consider the dietary approaches to stop hypertension, which include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and low-fat dairy products. It's known to help lower blood pressure.
• Increase your potassium-rich foods like bananas, oranges, spinach, and sweet potatoes. Potassium can counteract the effects of sodium.
• Excessive alcohol can raise blood pressure. If you drink, do so in moderation.
• Choose unsaturated fats in avocados, olive oil, and nuts over saturated and trans fats, which can increase hypertension risk.
• Shedding excess weight can significantly lower blood pressure. Aim for a BMI within the healthy range.
• Engage in a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week.
• Practice relaxation methods like deep breathing, meditation, or yoga to relieve stress, which can elevate blood pressure.
• Regularly monitor your blood pressure at home and follow up with your doctor.
• High caffeine intake can temporarily raise blood pressure. Be mindful of your caffeine sources.
