Alrista Plus Tablet 10 is used to manage diabetic peripheral neuropathy.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Alrista Plus Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Epalrestat (150 mg): This component is an aldose reductase inhibitor that blocks the enzyme aldose reductase in your body. This enzyme normally converts excess glucose to sorbitol, which can accumulate in nerve cells and cause damage. By inhibiting this process, epalrestat prevents sorbitol buildup and protects your nerves from further damage.
• Methylcobalamin (1.5 mg): As an active form of vitamin B12, methylcobalamin plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy nerve function. It helps in the formation of myelin, the protective covering around nerve fibres that enables proper nerve signal transmission.
