Agna 25000 Capsule is used for the following:

• Treatment of chronic pancreatitis

• Managing exocrine pancreatic insufficiency

• Supporting digestion in cystic fibrosis patients

• Reducing symptoms of malnutrition due to poor digestion

Follow these instructions while taking Agna 25000 Capsule:

• Take this capsule orally during or immediately after meals with a glass of water.

• Swallow the capsule whole without crushing or chewing it.

• If you have difficulty swallowing, you may open the capsule and mix the contents with soft, acidic food like applesauce.

• Do not crush or chew the granules inside the capsule as this may cause mouth irritation.

• Store at room temperature (below 25°C) in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Agna 25000 Capsule consists of pancreatin (350 mg), which acts in the following manner:

• Lipase Activity: Pancreatin provides lipase enzymes (25,000 USP units) that break down dietary fats into smaller molecules called fatty acids and glycerol, making them easier for your body to absorb.

• Amylase Function: The amylase enzymes (22,500 USP units) in pancreatin digest complex carbohydrates and starches, converting them into simple sugars that your body can use for energy.

• Protease Action: Pancreatin contains protease enzymes (1,250 USP units) that break down proteins into amino acids, which are essential building blocks for various bodily functions.

• Digestive Support: By supplementing these three critical digestive enzymes, pancreatin helps improve overall nutrient absorption in the small intestine, particularly in conditions where the pancreas cannot produce sufficient enzymes naturally.
