Advastat Asp 10 Capsule 10 is used to lower cholesterol and help prevent blood clots in people at high risk of heart attack, stroke or blocked arteries, keeping the arteries clearer.
It combines a statin, which lowers harmful LDL cholesterol and slows the build-up of fatty deposits, with low-dose aspirin, an antiplatelet that helps prevent clots.
Swallow the capsule once a day as prescribed, and keep taking it even when you feel well, as it protects the heart and blood vessels over time.
Because it contains aspirin, you may bruise or bleed more easily. Tell your doctor about any liver problems, bleeding problems or stomach ulcers before use, and about other blood thinners. Report black or bloody stools, unusual bruising, or unexplained muscle pain.
