Nitradent Gel 15Gm

Nitradent Gel 15gm is used to relieve mouth ulcers and oral soreness.

Uses of Nitradent Gel 15gm are:

• Mouth Ulcers: Relieves the pain and inflammation of mouth ulcers.
• Oral Soreness: Soothes sore spots from dentures or orthodontic devices.
• Local Relief: Numbs the affected area to ease discomfort.

• Wash your hands before application of this gel
• Using a clean finger or small pad of cotton wool, massage approximately half an inch of the gel into the sore area.
• When using it for denture irritation, apply and leave it for 30 minutes before reinsertion of dentures. Do not apply this gel directly onto the dentures.
• Don't drink or eat anything for at least half an hour after application of this gel.

Nitradent Gel 15gm is meant for topical application at the site of an oral ulcer or sore site.

Nitradent Gel 15gm  is composed of three components:

• Choline salicylate (8.7% w/w): It is a choline salt of salicylate which is an anti-inflammatory agent. It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation.
• Lidocaine (2% w/w): It is a local anaesthetic agent that blocks pain signals from the nerves and the brain.

• This medicine should be stored at room temperature (below 30ºC).
• Store it in a dry place.
• Keep it away from children and pets.
• Do not use this medicine after the passage of the expiry date.

• Avoid foods and drinks that can worsen mouth ulcers.
• Avoid spicy and salty food. 
• Avoid cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol.
