Zovanta Tablet 15

Zovanta Tablet is used in the treatment and long-term prevention of acid-related digestive disorders to relieve stomach discomfort and promote healing of the digestive lining.

Uses of Zovanta Tablet are:

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Helps relieve heartburn and acid reflux into the food pipe.
• Peptic Ulcers: Helps treat and prevent stomach and intestinal ulcers by lowering acidity.
• Gastritis: Helps reduce stomach lining inflammation caused by excess stomach acid.

Here are the instructions to follow while taking Zovanta Tablet 15:

1. Swallow Panrux 40 Tablet whole with water, about an hour before a meal (usually breakfast), as your doctor prescribes.
2. Do not split, chew or crush the tablet, and keep taking it for the full course even if you feel better.
3. Tell your doctor if you have any concerns.

Zovanta Tablet 15 is taken by mouth.

Zovanta Tablet 15 contains Pantoprazole 40 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by:

• Blocking the acid pump in the stomach lining, which produces stomach acid.
• Lowering the amount of acid eases heartburn and reflux and lets the stomach and food pipe heal.

1. Store Zovanta Tablet 15 below 30°C, away from light and moisture.
2. Keep it out of the reach and sight of children.
3. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
4. Return any unused or expired medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

• Avoid trigger foods (spicy, fatty, or fried), eat smaller meals, and do not lie down or eat late within 2 to 3 hours of bed.
• Keep to a healthy weight, limit alcohol and avoid smoking, which all worsen reflux. Raising the head of the bed can help with nighttime symptoms.
• If you take Zovanta Tablet 15 long term, your doctor may check your magnesium, vitamin B12 and bone health, and will aim for the lowest dose for the shortest time needed.
