Zocef-CV Dry Syrup is a medicine used to treat a broad range of bacterial infections in children, including infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and bones and joints.
It is a combination antibiotic containing two active ingredients that work together against disease-causing bacteria. Give the syrup to your child using the measuring device provided, with food, as prescribed by the doctor.
Complete the full prescribed course even if your child starts feeling better, to help prevent the infection from returning and reduce the risk of antibiotic resistance.
Before giving this medicine, tell the doctor if your child has an allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, or any kidney problems. Contact the doctor if your child develops a severe rash, persistent diarrhoea, or difficulty breathing.
