Wymox Dry Syrup 30ml contains amoxicillin (125 mg). The action mechanisms of this medicine include:

• Inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis: Amoxicillin prevents the formation of bacterial cell wall by binding to and disabling specific proteins (penicillin-binding proteins) within the cell wall. These proteins are essential for building the cell wall structure.

• Induction of bacterial cell lysis: By blocking these vital proteins, amoxicillin disrupts the formation of peptidoglycan chains, a key component that gives strength and rigidity to bacterial cell walls. This weakens the cell wall and ultimately causes the bacterial cells to burst open or lyse, resulting in their death.

• Store Wymox Dry Syrup 30ml at room temperature, not exceeding 30°C.
