WINBP 20 Tablet is used in the long-term management of high blood pressure to prevent cardiovascular and renal complications in adults.

Uses of WINBP 20 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure in adults with hypertension.
• Cardiovascular Protection: Reduces the risk of future heart attack, stroke, and related blood vessel complications.
• Kidney Protection: Helps protect kidney function in adults with high blood pressure.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• It can be taken with or without food.

• Remember not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Winbp 20 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Winbp 20 Tablet 15 contains olmesartan medoxomil (20 mg), which has the following effects on the body:

• Angiotensin II Receptor Blockade: Olmesartan selectively blocks the binding of angiotensin II to its receptor, specifically the AT1 subtype. Angiotensin II is a hormone that causes blood vessels to narrow or constrict, increasing blood pressure.

• Blood Vessel Relaxation: By blocking angiotensin II's action on its receptor, Olmesartan causes blood vessels to relax and widen. This decreases the resistance the heart needs to pump against, ultimately reducing blood pressure.

• Long-Lasting Effect: Olmesartan's blood pressure-lowering effect lasts over 24 hours. This long-lasting effect helps manage hypertension effectively throughout the day.

• Store Winbp 20 Tablet 15 at room temperature, between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep the medicine away from light and dampness, retaining it in its original packaging.

• Ensure the medicine is kept out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date and only use the product before this date.

• Reduce your salt intake: High salt consumption can raise your blood pressure, worsening hypertension.

• Regular exercise: Regularly engage in physical activities like walking, cycling or swimming.
