Vogs 0.3 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes by controlling the rise in blood sugar after meals. It is a single-ingredient alpha-glucosidase inhibitor containing voglibose.
It can be used alone or with other diabetes medicines. Take it just before each main meal, as timing with food is essential, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Control the type and amount of carbohydrates you eat, such as rice, roti and sweets, stay physically active and monitor your blood sugar regularly.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have bowel problems such as inflammatory bowel disease, hernias or severe digestive conditions and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. If low blood sugar occurs, treat it with pure glucose rather than table sugar, as this medicine delays sugar digestion. Tell your doctor promptly about abnormal liver test results, and ask your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
