Vertidom Tablet 10 is used to relieve vertigo and its symptoms.

Uses of Vertidom Tablet 10 are:

• Vertigo: Eases dizziness, spinning and unsteadiness.
• Nausea and Vomiting: Reduces the nausea and vomiting that come with vertigo.
• Ringing in the Ears: Helps with headache and ringing in the ears linked to vertigo.

• Swallow the medicine whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Avoid taking more than your prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.
• If you need to continue this medication for longer than a week, seek your doctor's advice.

Vertidom Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Vertidom Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to manage vertigo:

• Cinnarizine (20 mg): This component acts as a selective calcium channel blocker in the vestibular system - the part of your inner ear that controls balance. By improving circulation in the inner ear and reducing the sensitivity of the vestibular apparatus, cinnarizine helps reduce vertigo and associated symptoms. Its antihistamine properties also contribute to its effectiveness.
• Domperidone (15 mg): Domperidone works as a dopamine receptor antagonist mainly in two areas - the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) and your gastrointestinal tract. By blocking dopamine's action, it reduces nausea and vomiting. Additionally, domperidone enhances gastrointestinal motility, which helps prevent reflux and facilitates gastric emptying. These actions further help alleviate vertigo symptoms.

• Keep your Vertidom Tablet 10 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• The ideal storage temperature should not exceed 25°C.
• Avoid exposing the medicine to moisture or air.
• Always ensure it is out of reach of children.
