Fusigen Spray 20Gm

Fusigen Spray is used to manage bacterial skin infections including impetigo, infected dermatitis, infected cuts and scrapes, folliculitis and erythrasma.

Uses of Fusigen Spray 20gm are:

• Bacterial Skin Infections: Treats impetigo, infected eczema, infected wounds and folliculitis (inflamed hair follicles).
• Symptom Relief: Helps reduce the redness, swelling and discomfort caused by the infection.

Using Fusigen Spray requires some simple steps:

• Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before application.
• Shake the bottle well.
• Hold the spray bottle about 10–15 cm away from the skin.
• Spray a light, even layer over the affected area.
• Allow it to air dry without covering or rubbing the skin.
• Use as directed by your doctor, typically once or twice daily.

Fusigen Spray is applied topically.

Fusigen Spray contains fusidic acid (2%), which influences your body through these mechanisms:

• Bacterial Protein Synthesis Inhibition: Fusidic acid works by binding itself to an essential bacterial protein called elongation factor G (EF-G). This protein is vital for bacteria, as they require it to synthesise new proteins that aid their growth and spread.
• Halts Bacterial Growth: By attaching itself to EF-G, fusidic acid prevents a key step in bacterial protein synthesis called translocation. As a result, the growth of bacteria is stopped, curbing the spread of infection. This allows your body's immune system to eliminate the remaining bacteria effectively.

• Store Fusigen Spray at a cool room temperature below 25°C.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep it away from direct heat, light and moisture to maintain its efficacy.
• Ensure the tube is tightly closed when not in use to avoid any contamination.
• Keep it out of reach and sight of children for safety.
