Ursokem-300 Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• Bile Acid Sequestrants: Medicines like cholestyramine and colestipol can reduce the absorption of ursodeoxycholic acid, which could decrease the effectiveness of Ursokem-300 Tablet. These should be taken at least 2 hours apart.

• Antacids: Certain antacids containing aluminium may lower the absorption of ursodeoxycholic acid, leading to reduced effectiveness of this medicine. Make sure to take them at least 2 hours apart.

• Certain Antibiotics and Calcium Channel Blockers: Medicines such as ciprofloxacin (an antibiotic) and nitrendipine (a calcium channel blocker) can have their absorption affected by Ursokem-300 Tablet. Hence, these should be administered at least 2 hours before or after taking Ursokem-300 Tablet.

Ursokem-300 Tablet does not have any known interactions with specific foods. However, it is generally recommended to take this medicine after meals for optimal absorption.

Ursokem-300 Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Advanced Liver Disease or Cirrhosis: Patients suffering from advanced liver disease or cirrhosis may be more sensitive to the effects of Ursokem-300 Tablet and could require dose adjustments under a doctor's guidance.

• Complete Biliary Obstruction: In cases where bile cannot enter the intestine due to complete biliary obstruction, this medicine is contraindicated as it won't be able to work effectively.
