Tyrodin Fsr Tablet 10

Tyrodin-FSR Tablet is used for a variety of conditions where excessive or abnormal bleeding is a concern. These include:

• Management of heavy menstrual bleeding, known as menorrhagia
• Control of nosebleeds also referred to as epistaxis
• Minimising bleeding during cervical surgery, specifically conization of the cervix
• Controlling blood loss after prostate surgery or post-prostatectomy
• Managing post-cystectomy bleeding, which is after bladder surgery
• Managing traumatic hyphema, referring to bleeding inside the eye
• Management of hereditary angioedema, an inherited condition causing swelling in various body parts

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid chewing or crushing the tablet.
• It can be taken with or without food according to your comfort.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
• If you decide to stop taking this medicine, make sure to discuss it with your doctor first.

Tyrodin-FSR Tablet is taken orally.

Tyrodin-FSR Tablet contains tranexamic acid (500 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Regulates Clot Breakdown: Tranexamic acid works by controlling the breakdown of blood clots in your body.
• Blocks Plasmin: It prevents the release and action of an enzyme called plasmin, which is vital for clot dissolution.

• Store your Tyrodin-FSR Tablet at room temperature.
• Protect from direct sunlight and keep it in a dry place.
• Ensure the packaging is sealed to prevent exposure to air.
• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
• Remember to use this medicine before the expiry date stated on the packet.

• If you are experiencing heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia), consider increasing your intake of iron-rich foods like spinach, lentils, and red meat. This can help replenish lost iron and avoid anaemia.
• As Tyrodin-FSR Tablet is used to manage nosebleeds (epistaxis), try to maintain a humid environment at home, especially during dry weather. Using a humidifier or taking steamy showers can help keep nasal passages moist and may reduce the likelihood of nosebleeds.
