Composition

Aceclofenac (100 Mg) + Paracetamol/acetaminophen (325 Mg)

Troyfenac P Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It may also be prescribed for acute back pain, dental pain and sports-related injuries.

This tablet contains Aceclofenac, an NSAID, and Paracetamol. Aceclofenac reduces the pain-causing chemicals produced at the site of inflammation, while Paracetamol lowers the overall sensation of pain and reduces fever. Take it after a full meal, as prescribed, to reduce the risk of stomach irritation.

Staying well hydrated while taking this medicine helps protect your kidneys. Avoid taking other cold or pain medicines that also contain Paracetamol, to prevent accidental overdose.

Tell your doctor if you have a history of asthma, stomach ulcers, or heart disease before starting this medicine. Report black stools, severe stomach pain, or unusual bruising to your doctor promptly. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Troyfenac P Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation in selected joint, dental and musculoskeletal conditions.

Uses of Troyfenac P Tablet are:

Arthritis: Relieves pain and swelling in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Musculoskeletal Pain: Relieves acute back pain and pain from sprains or sports injuries.
Dental Pain: Relieves pain and inflammation associated with dental conditions or procedures.

Use Troyfenac P Tablet 10 following these instructions:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Avoid breaking, chewing, or crushing the tablet.
Always follow the recommended dose provided by your doctor.
Consult your doctor before altering the dose or stopping the medicine.

Troyfenac P Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Troyfenac P Tablet may cause some side effects that are usually mild and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine.

Digestive: Feeling sick (nausea), vomiting, stomach pain, loose motions (diarrhoea) or constipation, low appetite and indigestion.
Neurological: Dizziness, headache and sleepiness.

Troyfenac P Tablet 10 consists of two active ingredients that work together to provide relief from pain and inflammation:

Aceclofenac (100 mg): It is an NSAID that inhibits the cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. These chemical messengers are key to inflammation, pain, and fever. By blocking the action of cyclooxygenases-2 enzyme, aceclofenac reduces the inflammation, pain, and fever associated with musculoskeletal disorders, joint pain, and injuries.
Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): Believed to act mainly on the central nervous system, acetaminophen inhibits central prostaglandin production by blocking COX enzymes in the brain. It increases the pain threshold and brings down fever by acting on the brain's heat-regulating centre.

Pregnancy

Troyfenac P Tablet 10 is contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, discuss this with your doctor.

Breastfeeding
