CompositionTriben-XT Cream is used to manage mixed skin infections caused by bacteria and fungi, including conditions such as tinea and eczema with secondary infection. It helps reduce redness, swelling and itching while clearing the underlying infection.
It contains clotrimazole, an antifungal, gentamicin, an antibiotic, and beclomethasone, a corticosteroid, which work together against infection-causing organisms while calming inflammation. Apply a thin layer to the affected area of skin as prescribed.
Keeping the affected area clean and dry, wearing loose, breathable clothing, and avoiding sharing towels or clothing can help prevent the infection from spreading or recurring.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any known allergies to antifungals, antibiotics or steroids. Avoid use on the face unless specifically directed, and do not use for longer than prescribed, as prolonged use of the steroid component can thin the skin. Report any worsening redness, irritation or signs of an allergic reaction to your doctor.
