Trava Ez 10/10 MG Tablet 10 is used to manage high cholesterol in adults, including inherited high cholesterol (familial hypercholesterolaemia). It lowers LDL (""bad"") cholesterol and triglycerides and raises HDL (""good"") cholesterol, helping to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke, especially in people with diabetes or coronary heart disease.
It combines atorvastatin, a statin that reduces the cholesterol made by the liver, and ezetimibe, which blocks the absorption of cholesterol from food in the gut. Take it daily as prescribed, with or without food, and keep taking it even when you feel well.
A diet low in saturated fat, regular physical activity, keeping to a healthy weight and quitting smoking support better cholesterol levels alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any liver or kidney problems before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
