Topper 25 MG Tablet 10 is used to prevent migraine headaches in adults and to control and prevent seizures in people with epilepsy, including Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, on its own or alongside other anti-epileptic medicines.
It contains topiramate, an anti-epileptic and migraine-prevention medicine. Take it exactly as prescribed, at the same times each day, and do not stop it suddenly without medical advice, as this can trigger seizures. Drink enough fluids to reduce the risk of kidney stones.
A regular routine with good sleep, taking doses on time, avoiding alcohol and drinking plenty of water support your treatment alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any kidney stones, glaucoma, metabolic acidosis or mood problems before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report new or worsening low mood, confusion, memory difficulties, numbness, tingling, or sudden vision changes, which need prompt medical advice.
