Temsan Am 5 Tablet 15 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Temsan Am 5 Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

Temsan Am 5 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Temsan Am 5 Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure:

• S-amlodipine (5 mg): As a calcium channel blocker, S-amlodipine prevents calcium from entering the muscle cells of your heart and blood vessels. This causes the blood vessels to relax and widen, making it easier for blood to flow through them and reducing blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component works by blocking the effect of a hormone called angiotensin II. Normally, angiotensin II causes blood vessels to narrow (constrict) and stimulates the release of another hormone called aldosterone. By blocking these effects, telmisartan helps blood vessels to widen and reduces water retention in the body, both of which help lower blood pressure.

• Store Temsan Am 5 Tablet 15 at room temperature below 25°C.

• Keep in the original packaging to protect from moisture and light.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use beyond the expiration date printed on the package.

• Reduce your salt intake to help lower blood pressure. Aim for less than 5 g of salt per day by avoiding processed foods and not adding extra salt to meals.

• Regular physical activity for 30 minutes most days helps control blood pressure. Start with gentle walking and gradually increase intensity as your fitness improves.
