Telmipil M 40/25 MG Tablet 10 is a medicine used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. It helps lower the risk of long-term complications such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney problems by relaxing blood vessels and helping the heart pump more efficiently.
Telkonol M Tablet is a combination medicine that contains telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and metoprolol succinate, a beta-blocker. It is usually taken at the same time each day, with or without food. Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms. Do not stop this medicine suddenly, as this can cause a rapid rise in heart rate or blood pressure.
Healthy lifestyle changes form an important part of managing high blood pressure. These include regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, reducing salt and saturated fat in your diet, limiting alcohol, and quitting smoking. Managing stress and getting adequate sleep can also support overall heart health.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have asthma, a very slow heart rate, diabetes, circulation problems in the hands and feet, or kidney or liver problems. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It may also mask some signs of low blood sugar in people with diabetes.
