CompositionTelmibless Ct Tablet 15 is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults when single-drug therapy is not enough. It is a combination medicine containing telmisartan (an angiotensin II receptor blocker) and chlorthalidone (a thiazide-like diuretic).
Good blood pressure control lowers the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney failure. Take it with or without food, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure rarely causes noticeable symptoms.
Cut down on salt, especially pickles, papad and packaged snacks, exercise regularly and limit alcohol.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, gout, diabetes or electrolyte imbalances, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Do not use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as it can harm the unborn baby. Your doctor will monitor your kidney function and electrolyte levels. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
