Stemetil Injection can interact with medications, including:

• Antihypertensives such as doxazosin, terazosin, guanethidine, or clonidine. The concomitant use may enhance the hypotensive effects of these medications.
• Antidiabetics. The concomitant use may interfere with blood glucose control, requiring adjustments in antidiabetic medication doses.
• Antiepileptics such as carbamazepine. The concomitant use may increase the risk of potential side effects.
• Antidepressants. The concomitant use may increase the risk of potential side effects.
• Antiparkinsonian medications such as levodopa can affect the absorption of this medication.
• Antiarrhythmics such as diltiazem, verapamil, digitalis, amiodarone, disopyramide, propranolol, or quinidine. The concomitant use may increase the risk of potential side effects.
• Sedatives such as barbiturates. The concomitant use may increase the risk of potential side effects.

Stemetil Injection can interact with diseases, including:

• Heart problems: This injection may worsen the existing heart problems.
• Stroke: This injection may worsen this condition.
• Hypotension (low blood pressure): This injection may increase the risk of hypotension, worsening the condition. 
• Liver or kidney problems: This injection may increase the risk of liver and kidney problems.
• Thyroid problems: This injection may worsen the existing thyroid condition.
• Enlarged prostate gland: This injection may worsen the existing condition.
• Parkinson’s disease: This injection may worsen the existing condition.
• Dementia: This injection may worsen the existing condition.
• Epilepsy or fits (seizures): This injection may increase the risk of seizures, worsening the existing condition.
• Tumour on your adrenal gland (phaeochromocytoma): This injection may worsen the condition.
• Myasthenia gravis (a type of muscle weakness): This injection may worsen the condition.
• Glaucoma (signs include painful eyes and blurred vision): Because of its anticholinergic action, this injection should be used cautiously in patients with glaucoma.
• Blood clots: This injection may increase the risk of blood clots.

Get Stemetil Injection as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed it without consulting your doctor. 

If you get an excessive amount of Stemetil Injection by accident, it is essential to take immediate medical attention from your doctor or nearby hospital. Symptoms of an overdose include sleepiness or dizzy, increased or rapid heartbeat, feeling very cold and confused, writhing movements, feeling restless, stiffness or shaking. You may lose consciousness.

Your doctor will provide the instructions on when to give you this injection. It is unlikely that you will not be given the medicine as it has been prescribed. However, if you think you missed a dose, tell your doctor.
