Ropinprime 0.5 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of Parkinson's disease

• Managing movement-related symptoms in Parkinson's disease

• Reducing tremors and stiffness

• Improving slowness of movement

• Relief of Restless Legs Syndrome

• Decreasing uncontrollable urge to move legs

• Alleviating uncomfortable leg sensations

• Improving sleep quality in Restless Legs Syndrome

• Managing motor function impairments

• Supplementing dopamine activity in the brain

Follow these instructions while taking Ropinprime 0.5 Tablet 10:

• Take the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day, preferably before bedtime.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Ropinprime 0.5 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Ropinprime 0.5 Tablet 10 contains ropinirole (0.5 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Dopamine Receptor Stimulation: Ropinirole directly activates dopamine receptors in the brain, compensating for the lack of natural dopamine that occurs in Parkinson's disease.

• Substantia Nigra Support: It helps restore the balance of dopamine signalling in the substantia nigra region of the brain, where dopamine-producing neurons progressively degenerate in Parkinson's disease.

• Central Nervous System Modulation: Ropinirole regulates dopaminergic transmission in the central nervous system, helping control the nerve impulses that cause uncomfortable sensations, and movement urges in Restless Legs Syndrome.

• Motor Function Improvement: By mimicking dopamine's effects, it helps improve motor function and reduces symptoms like tremors, stiffness, and slowness of movement in Parkinson's patients.

Follow these instructions while storing Ropinprime 0.5 Tablet 10:

• Store the tablet at room temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• For Parkinson's disease: Include foods rich in antioxidants like berries, dark leafy greens and nuts in your diet, as these may help protect brain cells from further damage.

• For Restless Legs Syndrome: Limit your intake of caffeine (found in coffee, tea, chocolate and some fizzy drinks) as it can worsen the uncomfortable leg sensations, especially in the evening.
