Retino AC Gel is a combination topical gel prescribed for treating mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris, including inflammatory pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads.
It combines Tretinoin (a vitamin A derivative that unclogs pores and speeds cell renewal) and Clindamycin (a lincosamide antibiotic that kills Cutibacterium acnes bacteria and reduces inflammation). Together, they target both bacterial growth and pore blockage for clearer skin.
Wash affected skin with a gentle non-soap cleanser, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of gel once daily at night. Avoid applying to broken skin, eyes, lips, or mucous membranes. It may take 2 to 6 weeks of regular use to notice visible improvements in acne lesions.
Because tretinoin increases sensitivity to sunlight, use broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and limit exposure to sun and UV lamps. Tell your doctor if you have a history of regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or antibiotic-associated colitis before using this product.
