Retino A 0.05% Cream is a medicine used to manage acne vulgaris, a common skin condition. It contains tretinoin, a topical retinoid.
It works by reducing the number and severity of acne lesions, unclogging pores, and helping prevent new acne from forming. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin as prescribed, usually at night, and avoid the eyes, lips and mucous membranes.
Using a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturiser and a sunscreen during the day can help manage dryness and protect your skin, as this medicine can make skin more sensitive to sunlight.
Before using this cream, tell your doctor about any skin conditions, sunburn, or other skin products or medicines you use. Avoid using it on broken, sunburnt or eczema-affected skin. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
