Renmax Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Managing diabetic kidney disease

• Protecting kidneys from diabetes-related damage

• Slowing the progression of long-term kidney disease

• Improving overall kidney function

• Decreasing protein in urine

• Enhancing creatinine clearance

• Reducing kidney inflammation

• Preserving kidney structure in diabetes

• Supporting antioxidant defences in the kidneys

Follow these instructions while taking Renmax Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it regularly at the same time each day for best results.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• If you have difficulty swallowing, the tablet can be dispersed in a spoonful of soft food.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice about taking this medicine.

Renmax Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Renmax Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• N-Acetylcysteine (150 mg): This modified form of the amino acid cysteine acts as a precursor to glutathione, one of the body's most important antioxidants. It neutralises harmful free radicals and reduces oxidative stress in the kidneys, which helps protect kidney cells from damage.

• Taurine (500 mg): As a conditionally essential amino acid, taurine performs multiple bodily functions. It scavenges reactive oxygen species (harmful molecules that damage cells), reduces lipid peroxidation (cell membrane damage), and inhibits apoptosis (programmed cell death) in kidney tissues.

• Store Renmax Tablet 10 at a temperature not exceeding 30°C in a tightly closed container.

• Keep away from direct heat, light, and moisture.

• Do not store in the bathroom or near sinks.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Dispose of unused or expired tablets properly as per guidelines.

• Maintain stable blood sugar levels by following a diabetes-friendly diet rich in fibre, lean proteins, and healthy fats while limiting refined carbohydrates and sugary foods.

• Stay well-hydrated with 8-10 glasses of water daily to support kidney function and help flush out toxins that can worsen diabetic nephropathy.
