Proxtl 100 MG Dry Syrup 30 ML used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, commonly administered to children. This broad-spectrum antibiotic (containing Cefpodoxime) is effective against infections in the respiratory tract (like tonsillitis and bronchitis), urinary tract (UTIs), and various skin infections (such as cellulitis). It works by preventing the bacteria from building their protective cell wall, thereby killing them to manage infections safely in children and adults.

1. Shake the bottle well before use to ensure that the dry powder is thoroughly mixed.
2. Measure the exact quantity needed using a clean spoon or cup.
3. Follow your doctor's recommended dosage and duration for this medicine.
4. After each use, ensure the bottle is tightly closed to maintain the efficacy of the medicine.
5. This medicine contains sugar; if your child has diabetes, consult your doctor before giving it to them.

The active ingredient in Proxtl 100 MG Dry Syrup 30 ML is cefpodoxime proxetil (100 mg). Here's how it works:

• Penicillin-Binding Proteins Inhibition: Cefpodoxime Proxetil targets specific enzymes called penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) present inside the bacterial cell wall. PBPs are responsible for constructing and reshaping the cell wall during bacterial division.
• Peptidoglycan Chains Disruption: By inhibiting these PBPs, Cefpodoxime Proxetil disrupts the formation of peptidoglycan chains that provide strength and rigidity to the bacterial cell wall.
• Cell Lysis Induction: This disruption causes the bacterial cell wall to weaken and eventually break down, leading to a process called cell lysis, in which the bacteria break open and die.

1. Store the dry syrup powder at or below 25°C.
2. Once mixed with boiled and cooled water, keep it at room temperature or refrigerated.
3. Ensure the bottle is tightly sealed after use.

5. Use the Proxtl 100 MG Dry Syrup 30 ML within 14 days of reconstitution and before its expiry date.
