POZITIV G2 Tablet 10 is used in the following circumstances:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults particularly when diet and exercise alone aren't enough for blood sugar control.

• Use as a combination therapy for those patients who require combination therapy with glimepiride and pioglitazone to achieve optimal blood sugar management.

To properly use POZITIV G2 Tablet 10, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Take this medicine once daily, with or without food, as advised by your doctor.

• Don't take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor first.

• If you plan to stop taking this medicine, consult your doctor before doing so.

POZITIV G2 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

POZITIV G2 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Glimepiride (2 mg): As a sulfonylurea class of medicine, glimepiride works by stimulating your pancreas to secrete more insulin. This results from it binding to specific receptors on pancreatic beta cells.
