CompositionPoraz D 10/20 MG Capsule 20 is used to treat stomach acid-related disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux and peptic ulcer disease. It is a combination medicine containing omeprazole and domperidone, and belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitor and prokinetic medicines.
This medicine reduces stomach acid production while also increasing the movement of the stomach, which together provide relief from symptoms such as burning sensations, nausea and regurgitation and support healing of the digestive tract lining. Take this capsule whole with a glass of water, preferably before a meal, in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Tell your doctor about any liver problems, and about any other medicines you are taking, before starting this medicine. It should be used with caution during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report any persistent stomach pain, dizziness or dry mouth to your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
