Telmed 40 Tablet 10

Telmed 40 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and to help prevent heart attacks and strokes.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• You can take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Telmed 40 Tablet is taken orally. 

Telmed 40 Tablet contains the following component:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): It is an angiotensin-II receptor blocker that blocks the action of an angiotensin II hormone, leading to further relaxation of blood vessels. This action reduces resistance in blood vessels, making it easy for the heart to pump blood. This results in lowered blood pressure, which is essential for managing hypertension.

• Telmed 40 Tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Adopt a diet low in salt and reduce the consumption of processed foods, which often have higher sodium content. Opt for flavouring your meals with spices and herbs instead of salt.
• Engage in regular physical activity like cycling, walking, and jogging for at least 30 minutes daily.
• Recognise that chronic stress can contribute to high blood pressure. Manage stress by adjusting your expectations and reactions to situations and by dedicating time to activities you find enjoyable.
• Prioritise a diet abundant in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat dairy products.
• Refrain from smoking and limit alcohol consumption.
