CompositionPivasta 4 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol levels in adults, including raised total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and apolipoprotein B, and to lower triglycerides.
It contains pitavastatin, a statin that reduces the amount of cholesterol made by the liver. Take it as prescribed with or without food, and continue it regularly even if you feel well, as high cholesterol often causes no symptoms.
A diet low in saturated fat, regular physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol all support cholesterol control alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any liver problems, kidney disease, or other medicines you take. Report any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness promptly, as this can rarely indicate a muscle problem. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
