OKT Eye Drops are utilised for the following:

• Managing signs and symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis in adults and children aged 2 years and above.

• Providing short-term relief from ocular itching due to allergies.

To use OKT Eye Drops effectively, follow the steps below:

• Always wash your hands before touching the eye drops bottle.

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• Tilt your head back slightly, and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

• Squeeze prescribed amount of drop(s) into this pocket without touching the dropper to your eye or any other surface.

• Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes.

• Replace and tighten the cap on the dropper bottle right after you use it.

OKT Eye Drops are instilled topically.

OKT Eye Drops contain three active ingredients:

• Olopatadine (1 mg): Olopatadine is an antihistamine that blocks histamine, a substance released by the body during an allergic reaction that causes symptoms like itching, redness, and swelling in the eye. By inhibiting histamine receptors in the eye, olopatadine provides relief from these symptoms.

• Ketorolac (4 mg): This NSAID works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which bring about inflammation, pain, and itching in the eye. By reducing prostaglandin production, ketorolac helps decrease inflammation linked with allergic conjunctivitis.

• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.1 mg): Benzalkonium Chloride acts as a preservative that maintains the sterility of the eye drops and prevents bacterial growth in the solution. It also possesses mild antiseptic properties.

• Store OKT Eye Drops at room temperature, ideally between 4°C and 25°C.

• Avoid exposure to heat and direct light to maintain the efficacy of the drops.

• Keep it out of reach and sight of children for safety.

• Do not freeze.

• If you suffer from allergic conjunctivitis, try to avoid exposure to allergens such as dust and pollen which can trigger eye allergies.

• Including omega-3 fatty acids in your diet, found in fish and walnuts, can help manage inflammation associated with allergies.
