Oflo-DM Eye Drops are used to treat and prevent bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis. These drops combine an antibiotic with a corticosteroid, and also help manage eye inflammation following cataract surgery.
The antibiotic component inhibits bacterial growth, clearing the infection, while the corticosteroid component reduces inflammation, redness and swelling, together relieving both the infection and its associated discomfort.
Instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye, as your doctor advises, usually several times daily, and continue for the full course even as symptoms improve.
Avoid using for longer than your doctor recommends, since prolonged use of a steroid-containing eye preparation can raise eye pressure or mask a worsening infection. Remove contact lenses before use, and tell your doctor if symptoms do not improve within the expected time.
