ODihale G 100 Inhaler is used to manage asthma in adults.

Uses of ODihale G 100 Inhaler are:

• Maintenance treatment of asthma: This medicine helps control asthma symptoms in adults aged 18 years and older. It is used when asthma remains uncontrolled despite treatment with medium- or high-dose inhaled corticosteroid and long-acting bronchodilator combinations. The medicine reduces airway inflammation and keeps the airways open, making it easier to breathe. It is not meant for quick relief during sudden asthma attacks.

Use ODihale G 100 Inhaler as follows:

• Shake the inhaler well before use if the device instructions say so.

• Breathe out fully, away from the mouthpiece.

• Place your lips firmly around the mouthpiece to form a tight seal.

• Start breathing in slowly and deeply whilst pressing down on the inhaler.

• Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, or as long as comfortable.

• Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after use to prevent oral thrush.

• Consult your doctor for specific instructions on how many puffs to take.

ODihale G 100 Inhaler is administered via inhalation into the lungs.

ODihale G 100 Inhaler contains three active ingredients that work together as follows:

• Fluticasone furoate (100 mcg): This inhaled corticosteroid binds to glucocorticoid receptors inside airway cells. This binding changes how inflammatory genes work and suppresses multiple inflammatory processes involved in asthma. The result is reduced airway inflammation, swelling, and mucus production in the lungs.

• Glycopyrronium (25 mcg): This long-acting muscarinic antagonist blocks acetylcholine at muscarinic receptors, particularly M3 receptors in airway smooth muscle. By preventing cholinergic bronchoconstriction (airway narrowing caused by nerve signals), it promotes sustained airway relaxation and improved airflow.

• Vilanterol (12.5 mcg): This long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist activates beta2 receptors on airway smooth muscle. This activation increases intracellular cyclic AMP, a chemical messenger that produces smooth-muscle relaxation and bronchodilation (widening of the airways).

• Store ODihale G 100 Inhaler below 25°C, away from moisture.

• Keep the device closed when not in use.

• Do not puncture or expose the pressurised canister to heat.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Avoid smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke, as tobacco smoke worsens airway inflammation and makes asthma harder to manage.

• Identify and avoid your asthma triggers, such as dust, pollen, pet dander, strong fragrances, or cold air, to reduce the frequency of breathing difficulties.
