Nitrocontin 2.6 Tablet is used to prevent chest pain (angina) in patients with heart disease. It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, improving blood flow to the heart, and reducing the heart's workload, helping to prevent angina attacks and improve heart function.

Apart from its primary use, this tablet also prevents angina before physical exertion or stress and manages acute angina attacks. It's also used for the long-term management of chronic stable angina, which occurs when the blood vessels supplying your heart muscle narrow, causing a lack of oxygen that triggers pain.
