Nimucet-AF Suspension is used for managing pain and inflammation in children caused by musculoskeletal and joint disorders, headache, toothache, ear pain, and post-operative discomfort. It also helps in reducing fever caused by infections or immunizations.

Administer Nimucet-AF Suspension to your child as per the following instructions:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• Use a spoon or the provided measuring cup to measure the dose the doctor recommends.

• This medicine can be given with or without food.

• Ensure you give this medicine at the same time each day for consistent effect.

• Always consult your doctor if you have any doubts about how to give this medicine.

Nimucet-AF Suspension is given orally.

Nimucet-AF Suspension comprises two active ingredients:

• Aceclofenac (50 mg): This ingredient belongs to the group of NSAIDs and works mainly by inhibiting an enzyme known as cyclooxygenase (COX). By selectively blocking COX-2 more than COX-1, aceclofenac reduces inflammation, pain and fever. It also decreases certain proteins called cytokines that contribute to inflammation.

• Paracetamol (125 mg): Known also as acetaminophen, paracetamol acts centrally in the brain and spinal cord. It is believed that it inhibits COX enzymes in these areas of the body, reducing a specific type of prostaglandin (a chemical that causes fever and pain). It is also suggested that paracetamol may activate certain pathways in the brain, contributing to its analgesic and antipyretic effects.

• Store Nimucet-AF Suspension in a cool and dry place, ideally at a temperature below 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always remember to keep the medicine out of reach and sight of children.

• Always remember to close the lid of the bottle after use tightly.

• Since Nimucet-AF Suspension manages pain and inflammation related to musculoskeletal and joint conditions, encourage your child to maintain a balanced diet rich in calcium for strong bones and joints. Include foods like milk, cheese, yoghurt, and dark green leafy vegetables in their meals.
