Nac Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and joint swelling in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute musculoskeletal injuries.
It contains diclofenac, which works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing the synthesis of inflammatory prostaglandins that trigger pain and swelling. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, ideally after meals to minimise gastric distress.
Maintaining adequate hydration and taking the lowest effective dose for the shortest needed duration helps support renal and gastric health.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, asthma, severe heart conditions, or kidney impairment.
