• Antibiotics such as erythromycin: Concurrent use may increase the risk of QT interval prolongation and abnormal heart rhythms, especially in children with underlying cardiac conditions or electrolyte imbalance. 
• Other medicines affecting heart rhythm, such as amiodarone: Using these medicines together may increase the risk of serious irregular heartbeat due to additive effects on cardiac conduction. 
• Serotonergic medicines such as fluoxetine or sertraline: Concomitant use may increase serotonin levels and rarely lead to serotonin syndrome, which may present with agitation, sweating, tremors, rapid heartbeat, or confusion.
