Mydydro Tablet 10 is a hormonal medicine used to manage menstrual pain, premenstrual syndrome and endometriosis, and to help regulate the menstrual cycle. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing dydrogesterone, and belongs to a class of medicines called progestogens.
This medicine works by acting like progesterone, the natural female hormone, which helps balance the lining of the womb and steady hormone levels. It is also used for abnormal uterine bleeding, as part of hormone replacement therapy after menopause, to support fertility treatment and to help prevent miscarriage in early pregnancy when advised. Swallow the tablet with water and take it at the dose and for the days your doctor prescribes.
Keeping a note of your cycle dates, bleeding pattern and symptoms can help your doctor judge how well the treatment is working. Report any unusual bleeding rather than waiting for it to settle.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver problems, unexplained vaginal bleeding, a history of blood clots, breast or womb cancer, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, and seek urgent help for sudden chest pain, breathlessness, a swollen painful leg or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
