Mosiba Gel is used to relieve pain and inflammation caused by mouth ulcers, sore gums, and denture irritation.

Uses of Mosiba Gel are:

• Mouth Ulcers: Reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling around ulcers and numbs the affected area to relieve pain.
• Gum Soreness and Dentures: Soothes irritated gums and relieves discomfort caused by ill-fitting dentures.

To use Mosiba Gel, follow these steps:

• Ensure your hands are clean before application.

• Apply a small amount of the gel directly on the affected areas in your mouth.

• Gently massage the gel onto the ulcers or sore spots.

• Avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after application to allow the gel to work effectively.

Mosiba Gel is applied topically.

Mosiba Gel contains several active ingredients that work together:

• Choline Salicylate (8.7%): This ingredient belongs to the family of NSAIDs and works by reducing the levels of prostaglandins, which are chemical messengers responsible for causing inflammation and pain. By doing so, choline salicylate helps decrease the inflammation and pain associated with mouth ulcers.

• Lidocaine (2%): As a local anaesthetic, lidocaine works by blocking the transmission of pain signals from nerve endings to the brain. This results in numbing of the affected area and provides rapid and effective pain relief.

• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.01%): This component acts as an antimicrobial agent, helping to kill bacteria present at the site of application.

These three components work together to provide relief from mouth ulcers and related discomforts.

• Store Mosiba Gel at normal room temperature, ideally between 20° to 25°C.

• Keep it in a dry place, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight and heat.

• Always keep the tube sealed tightly after use to prevent air exposure.

• Ensure it is kept out of reach of children for their safety.

• Since Mosiba Gel is used to manage mouth ulcers, it would be helpful if you avoided spicy and acidic foods as these can aggravate oral discomfort.

• Also, maintaining good oral hygiene by brushing twice a day and using a mouthwash could help prevent the occurrence of mouth ulcers.
