Micobrex Gel 20Gm

MICOBREX GEL 20GM is used for managing the following conditions:

• Controls vaginal yeast infections
• Relieves external vaginal itching and irritation due to fungal yeast infection 

• Ensure that the affected skin areas are clean and thoroughly dry before application.
• Gently massage the gel into your external vagina until it is fully absorbed.
• Remember to wash your hands immediately after applying, unless your hands are being treated.
• It is recommended to apply the gel twice daily, in the morning and evening or as advised by the doctor.

MICOBREX GEL 20GM is applied topically.

MICOBREX GEL 20GM contains miconazole (2%), which has the following actions on your body:

• Ergosterol Biosynthesis Inhibition: Miconazole works by blocking the production of ergosterol, a crucial component in fungal cell membranes. By inhibiting ergosterol production, miconazole disrupts the structure and function of these membranes.
• Increased Fungal Cell Permeability: When ergosterol biosynthesis is inhibited, the fungal cell membranes become permeable or leaky. This causes leakage of cellular contents and ultimately ends in fungal cell death.
• Anti-inflammatory Properties: Apart from acting against fungi, miconazole also exerts anti-inflammatory effects on the skin. This helps reduce inflammation often associated with fungal infections.

• Keep MICOBREX GEL 20GM stored below 30°C in a cool and dry place.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat.
• Ensure the tube is tightly closed when not in use.
• Keep it out of reach and sight of children.
• Always check the expiry date before use, and don't use it if expired.

• Choose natural, breathable fabrics like cotton to allow air circulation and reduce moisture buildup in the vaginal area.
• After exercising or sweating, change into dry clothing to prevent fungal infections.
• Do not share towels, razors, or personal items that come into contact with your skin to minimise the risk of spreading infections.
